TOURNAMENT DAY!!!

We had two big games today, and we got a taste of a big win and a big loss.  But in both games, the boys played well and hard.  A few cramps at the end of the 2nd game slowed us down a bit (remember boys, hydration, hydration, hydration!!!!!), but they pushed hard to the very end.

I guess the up side of losing is that everyone gets more time to finish their science fair projects, right?????  :-)

We really had to hustle, but thought we had a good chance at keeping up because at the beginning of the first quarter we were only down by 1 point.

By the end of the 2nd quarter, we really felt the heat as our opponents had gained 21 points in comparison to our 6.  

                         

                  

The good news is that we held them to only 9 points during the third quarter!  The bad news is that we only gained 4.

I haven't been able to figure out exactly what's happening in this one.

 In the final quarter, we actually outscored them.  They gained 7 points, and we scored 10.  Unfortunately, it was too little too late (and accompanied by 2 charlie horses for 2 different players).

It was a great effort, boys.  Thanks for a great day of basketball!!
